Q: How does voting work?
A: You must register with Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands to vote. After registering and logging into your account, go to a band page and click the vote button for any artist that you think is best. You may cast one vote per artist, per day.
Q: How is the winner chosen?
A: The 100 bands in each city earning the highest combination of votes will advance to the next round of competition. These bands will then be reviewed by a panel of industry professionals who will select four bands per city based on musicianship, originality, local draw, & social network buzz.
Q: How many times can I vote for a band?
A: You are allowed one vote per band per day. For clarification, you don't win by votes, it only makes you eligible to be reviewed by the panel of judges who select the winners based on musicianship and other criteria.
Q: Why when I vote for a band there votes don't increase?
A: Votes are refreshed every 10 minutes. If you don't see your vote right away it hasn't been processed yet.
